CHILI'S BACK HOME!!!
I got an email from the couple that bought him letting me know that they were going to sell the minis so her husband could get a riding horse (not enough barn space for the two minis and two riding horses) Every once in a while my sister would give us the "I miss my Chili" etc.. Sooooo being the soft-hearted person I am, I told them I'd buy him back, but didn't tell her about him..
Told them I'd be there to pick him up tonight.. Mom made her go to the school with her to help with the band concession stand, told her that I was staying home to do chores and pack for school, and that dad was staying home to call the insurance people about my car and the damage from the storm.. So as soon as they left, hooked up the trailer and went and picked him up.. Got home and put the trailer back in the place it was (she'd know something was up if it wasn't as we've had her ducks in it since we had a problem with a weasel ugh) Mom and her came home, so I went out and told her that I needed her to look at one of the ducks because it wasn't acting right.. Took her to the trailer and opened the door to Chili standing there and got a "WHAT THE!?!" So I asked her if she knew who it was and we got a "OMG it's CHILI!" and she literally jumped in the trailer and started hugging on him.. Then she stands up and looks at us and goes "Why's he here?" lol So I said "He's home, he's yours again" She definitely was surprised, even got some tears Right now I am "THE BEST" big sister lol
He's still as cute and ornery as ever, hopefully in the next couple years we can get him broke to be her driving gelding
No new pictures of him, was too dark when we got home with him, but here's some weanling pics:
