I didn't particulary laugh, but I did roll my eyes with an, oh geeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzeeeeee in there.

Got to say, the show as a whole, was terrible. There were a few good performances in there, but even those weren't so great, wasn't too thrilled with any of the song selections.

In my opinion, one of the worst over all shows they have ever had. I don't think I sat and watched more than 5 minutes total.

I don't watch it, but I know he keeps getting voted because of the website votefortheworst.com. They are determined to get the worst AI contenders kept on the show. LOL.

what he doesnt understand is that people are laughing at him not with him. he has changed so much from that first audition. Doesnt seem like the same person at all. the sad thing is i agree with simon i do think he could be a good singer but hes getting too caught up in "the image" and trying to be so different that he took his focus off singing

Unbelievable is'nt it?!! I found myself wandering around every now and then with this show last night and I'm usually pinned to the TV screen when it comes to Idol. Very boring performance overall. Melissa seems like she's going backwards....she was stronger when it first started. I thought she was a pretty good contender but she's somewhat dated. Reminds me too much of Gladys Knight. I like that "Kiki" Lakeisha actually smiled during her performance. Blake I go back and forth on...one week I like him and one week I don't. Haiylee would be good working at Walt Disney World as Cinderella or something and Sanjaya....well he's just a mess!

I think the kid has no clue that everyone is really making fun of him . I haven't been impressed with him from the start. To me, he reminds me of Michael Jackson! :new_shocked: Only Michael can sing. I was impressed with Phil last night. I've been saying that he needs to leave for weeks, but I was impressed with him, for the FIRST time. Oh, and I thought Gina did good. I haven't been a fan of her, but thought she did good. Blake, I really liked last week, but didn't think he did all that last night. Over all, wasn't impressed last night.

Any guesses on who goes home tonight?

My guess is Chris, he was bottom two last week, and still didn't do all that last night.

I'm pretty sure this will be the last idol. I mean, the controversy over the past few seasons has been bad enough, but to have this whole Vote for the Worst thing is just ridiculous. I think Simon was actually quoted saying something to the effect of if sanjaya wins, I won't come back. And I like Simon. He's my favorite of the judges. He has good taste, that's for sure (OMG! That Il Divo group that he "discovered" is absolutely droolworthy.)

But even if Sanajaya wins, so what? Non winners have come off the show with records. Look at Chris Daughtry . he didn't win and I sooo love his voice.

I think if Simon quits the show it won't be the same. I think it would probably fizzle after that if he should decide to leave. That Votefortheworst.com is running rampant. But I wonder if Sanjaya is still there close to the end, if the producers will take it amongst themselves to put their hands in the pot and make everything go their way. After all...is'nt Simon putting up $$$'s to have the winner picked up and contracted to one of his record labels?

My choice for the boot tonight is going to be Haylee :saludando: ....however you spell her name.

As far as Sanjaya goes - I do not think he is as naive as some of you do - he knows he is not as good voice-wise as most of the others... so tries other tactics as well. It is not just Vote For The Worst that is keeping him there - he has legions of young fans as well as his entire church here... :bgrin

You have to admit - he has... a lot of ....bravery... to have the stylists mess with his looks like that from week to week!

No - he will not win. As the number of contestants go down the votes from those who left will likely not be going Sanjaya's way...

All that being said - none of them have "it" this year as far as I am concerned. And this is the most boring season ever...

We need some Kelly, Clay, Ruben, Fantasia, Chris, Taylor etc. to make things fun again...

I agree there! I love him. I listen to his CD over and over again in the car.

But I disagree with your other statement, look at Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood! They have both been very sucessful.

I’m with you. I’ll be done with this show too. I won’t watch Dancing with the Stars any more. When I found out last year that the TV guide came out before the results show, and it was said in who was leaving, I quit watching. :new_shocked: It didn’t matter was voted for, they were off the show. :no:

I meant that Sanjaya MAY win but that doesn't stop the true talent from going onto better things. I agree Kelly is awesome. I don't like Carrie as I hate country, but she is very talented I agree.
