Here is an inquiry I received on my filly who is about 6 weeks old and will mature at maybe 31". I find this rather comical... gee, should I bother to respond? And by the way, this is NOT the first time I have received this same identical email, but the name of the person was female. I wonder if they also saw an American name listed by last name first and it was really Howard Anderson? This all just makes me laugh, what a bunch of idiots.

O MY GOSH I GOT THE SAME EXACT EMAIL I MARKED IT AS SPAM!! i cant belive that! i hate stuff like that and each time i see the word check or shipper im just like SCAMMER! lol i never reply to those! cept for one and topld them i have been selling horses for a long time and i know what a scammer is.

What gets me more than anything about these scams is that anyone is willing to sell a horse in this manner, knowing absolutely zero about the person or the circumstances the horse may end up in, but I know it's not atypical.

Ok, I just could not help myself and had to respond.... Here is what I sent back to this idiot (who does not want to pick up the horse, nor will they make any shipping arrangements, they are only looking for someone to cash a bogus bank check for them, so I would not worry about where the horse ended up- it's not about buying a horse)

My reply:

Dear Anderson Howard (not your real name)

I can tell that you are a very "experienced rider" since you are asking to purchase a Miniature baby that is only a month old and is only 23 inches tall for a riding horse! Unless you are a midget, pygmy or for some reason have never grown taller than three feet, I doubt this would be the horse for you.

I do not care to accept your bogus down payment of $50.00 and if payments are being made, I require at least half of the purchase price. I also do not care to deal with scammers who sent me the VERY SAME LETTER a few months ago, only with a womans name on it as the 'experienced rider', who also must have been a dwarf, since she also wanted a Miniature horse to ride on, and also offered a 'free trip' to California.

I would though, love to have a free vacation paid for by you, since you are in business to steal people's money for a living, I think it's your turn to pay for something. I could use a break from cleaning the barn. Please send me a weeks all expenses paid trip to Disneyland as soon as possible. Will look forward to receiving arrangements for the trip from you soon! My suitcase is already packed!
