Animal Rescue

This is just an idea ..i dont even know if it would be possible but its just been on my mind all last night and today, so i had to share.

After reading through what Marty wrote for Micheal and talking to her about how much he loved and rescued animals and tried to save so many things, i think it would be something wonderful to start an animal rescue and make donations toward it. After talking to Marty, i feel sure she will not accept any of the money donated to her and her family. But i think she would love to see something like this started, an animal rescue in name of Micheal (maybe even Shania to??). I dont know how we would go about doing this ...would it even be possible.

I think Marty would just love this and Micheal as well.

Would this be possible, i havnt put much thought into 'how it would work' .....its just been bouncing around in my head all day and i had to share, maybe some of you more creative people would have some ideas or add to it?

Marty has said in the past that her area was in desperate need of an animal rescue shelter situation. And from what I've read and heard her say, just in the short time Michael has been gone, she is thinking about starting something.

The initial project will be finding a location and also coordinating with her local authorities and her county to get things started. It will probably mean not only donations, but getting some Grant money.

In other words, when the time is right.......Marty and her family will probably do some leg work to initiate it. In the meantime, you could let them know that would be very willing to help. It may get some wheels turning in Marty's brain!

This shelter bring hounds up from VA ( is think that is where they are from) and dogs from Peurto Rico. The day they are able to release a shipment of dogs for adoption they have lines of people waiting.
