Another Animal Cruelty News Story

These people were already charged with animal cruelty/neglect on multiple animals.........and then they go out and slit dogs' throats!!!

My DREAM is for people like this to be guilty of a FEDERAL FELONY in ALL STATES.......But how????????

At this point, I have a feeling they will only receive a slap on their hands with a fine and required to do some public work of some sort.......ie, probation. If there is any jail time it will be only weeks or months.

I am BOILING!!!!!!!

Would love to find some young animal lover attorney who would be interested in drafting a FEDERAL LAW for people to vote on.........or better yet, for our senate and house reps to vote on!!! (I know.....it's a dream.)

I was just talking to hubby last night about going to school to become an animal cop and he said I probably should not do that as I would be the one getting arrested. He's probably right!

Unfortunetly this happens WAY too often. It is incredibly frustrating that we do not have stricter laws and in most cases the authorities just look the other way.

This is NOT to discount or not honor all of our feelings of outrage.........but I would really like to put that into some sort of ACTION.

ANY ideas would be welcome!!! I am TIRED of reading the stories both on here and in the news! We need legal advice..........But do people think we should tackle things on a state by state level first?

Often when a few states change their laws, others follow..........just a thought.........

Actually - since this took place in Washington State - they actually get some severe punishment due to the Posada (sp) law. Posada was a donkey that was horribly abused some years ago so a Law was enacted in his name. I hope these !@#$%^&*( get what they truly deserve.

Thank you Mark..........I get so frustrated hearing about abuses and then seeing everyone getting upset, but no one does anything!

I've spoken to a legal "adviser" on line........but it seems the best thing is to find a "legal eagle" in person. I guess I'm on a bit of a mission.

I keep hoping someone has some ideas to contribute, but so far no luck.

Mary Ann would a petition with, say, a million names get something done? You could get that many on line I would think.

Perfect for protecting those without a voice.
