I've checked out the Best Of Forum as well as the forum on Mare Stare BUT I am just not camera savvy AT ALL! My grandmother's birthday is in a couple of days, and I'd really like to get her a camera to watch the mares come April. I bred for earlier foals this year and now my grandmother will be stuck doing the mare stare during the week as I'll be in school til early May. Normally this would not be a big deal, but she's having problems with her pneumonia again plus her hip and knee give her a lot of pain. She won't let on that it's hurting her, but I know better. I'd really like to get her a couple of cameras so she can just watch on her new big screen tv
Now, Heather from MareStare recommends this camera: CAMERA LINK
From what I've absorbed off of the MareStare forum, it's pretty good plus you just can't beat that price! What I need to know is this:
What exactly do I need to make sure to order with it so my grandmother can watch on her tv? I think from the house to the barn it's about 200' tops so I'll need some sort of cables to hook them up right? LOL I'm sure I'm sounding ridiculous right now, I am just not good at this technology stuff! If there is someone out there who can dumb things down for me and just write a list of everything I will need, I would be very grateful!
