Well he's a chestnut near leopard right now and may shed out to be leopard-it looks like his lower legs and neck will end up being white so I think it's likely he will be leopard. If his head turns white, that's what you'll have. Love him!

Thanks for answering you 2. I think I am going to get him. He is cute no matter what colour he turns out to be and he is super friendly.

That stripe is common on babies colors, especially appies, it probably isn't dun. Just a VERY VERY cute little red near leopard.

Red base, near leopard, no Dun.
A twin for my boy....
Incidentally, Ariel is now shedding out to a Grey/Black base, so it will be a while if ever that he goes Near Leopard, he may stay extended blanket, but although he will look Black Base, he will still be Red Base....yet another reason to allow us to put phenotype and genotype on our papers.....
