We had another photo session this week with Jenn Davis' (bluerogue) assistance. We literally dragged our boys out of the pasture, knocked the dust off them, trimmed a few long hairs off their chins, fetlocks and took photos. We really wanted to bathe/clip, but instead of photos of six we'd probably have only two done!
It has been fun so far - but we still have many more to go!
Another lesson learned - no matter how many halters you have - you won't have the right one for every horse! I felt like Goldilocks but instead of porridge trying to find the right halter - to big, to small, wrong color, wrong nose band!
Here are some of the boys - we have a few more to do next week! Thank you Jenn!
Wesco Farms Primo - one of our recent geldings.
My daughter's 2yr old stallion (his two half brothers were gelded last month) Wesco Farms Rohans Echo ET (Buck Echo grandson).
Wesco Farms Toy4Me Token - I love this guys sire (have two sister's left) - he's getting appy to add to his bay roan. Token may get gelded too, so we an show him in the gelding classes next year!
Wesco Farms The Roger Baron - he's such a sweetie. Lots of patience and gentle personality like his daddy!
Homee - Rocking M 3T Ice Tee - one of his buddies has been munching on his mane & tail - but he's still a pretty boy and homozygous! He's getting a full roster of mares next year!
Monsoon was the last one - we were all tired, and sunburned. He wasn't thrilled either, so we didn't get to many complimentary shots of him. It's amazing the odd things a mini can do when they want! At the end of all this we also realized we'd forgot to measure everyone! Monsoon was the only one we sticked - all 26.50" of him!
