Poor Tekla was in surgery again this morning, the site broke down this weekend. The skin were the stitches are just opened up and the whole thing rotted away. So the drain is still in and the site is looking good now, my heart is breaking for her, she feels good and wants to play but with her E-Collar on all the other dogs think she's a monster and runs away from her, me & my husband do the same, she comes running at us, my legs are all bruised up from her crashing into the back of me! So hopefully this surgery be the last and in 10 days she'll be able to run & play with everyone again!

I made her feel real good, I stopped at the grocery store to get her some chicken noodle soup and wanted to get icecream for my nerves when I found Doggie Ice Cream Cups in with the people icecream, they are the coolest thing, they're vanilla dixie cups called Frosty Paws. But becarefull my husband grab one thinking I got him a treat! Wonder how many people or Mothers made the same mistake

I know it has been a long hard and hopefully you are coming to the end.. I just recently had one of my Boston Terriers down and it is no fun. God Bless you both!

Ohhhh poor baby!!!!! You're such a good dog mommy!!! Look at all the goodies for her, even tho her friends don't want or can't play with her now. She can rest up and get her strength and in no time soon she be up and playing without the e-collar.....which are such a pain!! She'll be in my thoughts. Please give her a big puppy ((hug)) for me and a kiss on that big sweet nose!!

So sorry she had to go in again, hope this is the last time for all of you.

Oh the poor pup. Glad you got her some Frosty Paws to cheer her up. My dog LOVES them and when I have icecream he gets his icecream. He picks up his cup and carries it to his corner and has a jolly time licking the icecream out. The only problem is that I can only find them at Wallyworld here in my town. I wish the other stores carried them as Walmart is just a little bit of a drive further than I prefer as there are 3 other grocery stores closer. Give the little girl a hug for me and continued prayers for her.
