another update on Mom

Mom continues to amaze the doctors but she is still very very sick.

The pneumonia is better, her kidneys have begun to work a little bit but are not filtering the toxins as well as they should. She has been upgraded a LOT though, from a 25% chance to a 50% chance. Yesterday she was able to follow simple direction from the doctor to squeeze her hand and spent a few minutes off of the ventilator with no problem.

The prayers are working! Thanks for all the support, it is really appreciated.

Prayers for you and your mom, Mary! My grandmother went through this 2 years ago. The doctors told us they'd never seen a worse case of pneumonia. She fought and beat it and I know your mom will too.
