Anyone have experience shipping a dog

[SIZE=14pt]Thankfully all my corgi kids have found new homes. three here in VA and one in california..... one of the families wanted to know if I would ever ship a puppy to frankfort germany...they have relatives that would want one. I have never shipped any internationally and I dont know what all would be involved. Anyone with experience? I only advertised three places, our newspaper, puppyfind.com and Yahoo and I have several people waiting now for the next litter. The puppies were gone in 2 days![/SIZE]

Let me know if anyone has had any experience doing this.

I have lived in Germany twice and both times our dog and cat went with us. There was a quarenteen period but I don't remember anything too bad about any of it. We just flew them over in crates and gave them meds from the vet right before loading them up.
