Ooo, one of my favorite subjects!!

Here is Magic Mist Mirage with her filly Magic Mist Bonsai In Blue; the filly ended up being VERY loudly colored; when she was first born all she had was a tiny little bit of white on her rump, now she is a near-leopard.

My best-producing mare, Wild Winds Frost Fire, and her colt (my now-gelding Magic Mist Color On Fire). Frost has had seven foals so far, and six have been loud appaloosas, even by non-appy stallions. Frost herself only has two white spots, and characteristics. Two of her foals (so far) have been National Champions.

She is the dam of Mirage, the first pictured mare.

Magic Mist I'm An Appy Lucy, she's a bay near-leopard yearling. I haven't been able to show her yet, I've had too many other horses I've been showing.

And my favorite, Magic Mist Remember Me; she's out of Frost Fire and by my now-deceased partnership stallion, NJ's Almost A Spot-- the ONLY foal I got from him. This filly won our club's Futurity. She's (so far) very minimally marked, like her dam. Has a trot to die for. I just love her.

My stallions: they are both just yearlings, so untried as of yet.

My three yearling colts live together, they are great friends. I love to watch them play.

They are all so sweet. I know that things will change when they start breeding mares, etc, but right now they are my "babies".

and no "Appy" post would be complete without a picture of my "main man", my B gelding Magic Mist Color On Fire. He was Reserve National Champion in Multi Color one year (out of something like 60 horses). This guy is multi-talented and SO special to me.

You won't be disappointed other than she has no spots.
