I bought my first AMHR/ASPC colt last year to infuse his amazing proportions into my herd. I like to keep my horses 34" or under so we'll see what I can do! I want all of my foals to look like this:

A 30.75" full yearling filly. She is actually ALL foundation mini bred-AMHR (soon to be AMHA progeny hardshipped). If I could get this with all of my horses, I would be in heaven. Hopefully this new Shetland boy can help with that.

I got into minis because I wanted minis! I have had several (modern) Shetlands, and appreciated them for what they are/were - but my heart is with my Arabians and my minis. I really haven't any desire to move into ASPC/AMHR horses - still working on my original goal of good-moving, good-minded, pretty & correct 32-34" silver dapple appaloosas!

Having good luck there and don't feel a need to "diversify" any more!
