Arrests in SAU stolen horses

Probably a lot of you know the story that broke last month about the horses and trailer stolen from Southern Arkansas University. The horses were recovered in poor shape, tied to trees in the woods in Oklahoma. The horses belonged to different members of the college rodeo team. The murdered one was a roping horse named Credit Card. Arrests have been made. An 18 year old girl was orchestrated it. The whole mess just makes me ill. You can google it with key words SAU, stolen horses, etc. You can google Jaci Rae Jackson also and see her in her orange jail jumpsuit or even check her out on facebook. There is even a facebook page about her being a horse thief and killer. They are selling t-shirts to commemorate Credit Card with the proceeds going to the rodeo team. It really is just so much of a mess.

Apparently, Credit Card was her ex-boyfriend's horse, and she wanted to "get back at " him. But she took multiple horses so she wouldn't immediately be a suspect. Her mother's boyfriend helped her kill and slaughter the horse. I hope all 3, the kid, mother, and boyfriend are all put away for a good long time. If I were the ex-boyfriend, I'd be glad to be rid of her, and feel lucky that although she killed the horse, she at least didn't kill HIM.

I heard about the stolen horses, but hadn't heard anything further. How sick. What kind of a twisted mind thinks up that kind of revenge, but then what kind of upbringing did this girl have when her own mother would now help to kill and butcher and animal that way? There is just something very, very wrong with some people!

I just read somewhere that she also was a member of the universities rodeo team, that makes it even sicker to know that she was 'supposedly' a horse person...what a little witch!

:No-Sad I was following this story since they were stolen, and the last I had heard Credit Card's remains had been found. I hadn't heard any further details. My heart breaks. Absolutely sickening.

Flying Minis-I read that after interviewing multiple people, including Credit Cards owner, there was never any relationship. Their professor/instructor or whatever his title was didn't want to speculate, but thought she was trying to eliminate competition and receive money to buy her own competitive horse with the others. She does not seem remorseful at all. A very sad ordeal
