OR NOT.

Over the past several years, I'd come home every day during the summer to find my dogs in the crates because I've had practically every kid in the county here on a daily basis running through my house trashing the place, raiding the refridgerator till it was empty, blasting the BOOM BOOM music, corpus everywhere and strange people in my pool. They wore me out, kept my place a wreck, and kept me out of grocery money. Soda cans everywhere, chips that led a trail, and nobody flushed the toilet! What a mess. I was a doormat. In hindsight, it wasn't all that bad seeing as how atleast I knew where my kids were and what they were doing. They all could have been out doing dope or getting drunk someplace or making me a grandmother, so yes I think if I had to do it all over again, I probably would.

But now, we are older and wiser :new_shocked:

and no more 3 month of constant partying every single day here. They've got JOBS! FINALLY!!!!! And they ARE going every day to work every day and leave me alone to do mine. YIP YIP YIP!!!!!! Matter of fact, they are already gone with their father down to Chickamaugua Georga today to floor a bunch of townhouses. They left at 5:00 am. They will get home late, dirty, and smelly and tired. Too tired to give me any mouth. I love that too!

: And they will have their own money to spend and save. Perfect.

Cookouts and partys are now being contained outside for weekends only. That's fine.

First a few chores, take out the trash, mow etc. then fire up the grill.

The only thing that they have to do is to let me shove some Beach Boys CD's in their BOOM BOOM BOX on occasion.

Yup I can live with this.

Life is good.

Sounds like you got the ol' Steel Toe boot out and started using it.

Congratulations on your tranquility. May all our summers be extra-teenager free.

The part that I thought was fun was when some girls came by and the boys weren't interested and took off leaving them here so we all sat around and I made everyone banana splits and we talked about boys had a hair dyeing party. One of the girls accidently dyed her hair "cherry" and it came out purple!

LOL Marty, sounds like you are enjoying the peace and quiet  . I think mom and dad were really happy when Shawn and I really started working alot. However with the kind of work we do we are usually gone from home for around 3 months, then back home for 2-3 months. Soooooo when we come home from work it is play, play, play, and more play :aktion033: :bgrin . I think they get sick of that, but hey when we work we work hard so we might as well play hard and make them crazy. Besides our playing generally translates into roping, roping, roping, and more roping

HOPEFULLY A WONDERFUL SUMMER COMMING YOUR WAY.

Marty you remind me of my mom some times!

I'm glad your getting the summer off to ....now you can spend even more time training timmy (and all the other little ones that have appeared) and less time training those two boys! :bgrin

With all this free time on your hands and the boy almost out of the house ...maybe now you can settle down agian and try for a little girl.

LOL
