I do not intend for this to be controversial - I would like to know what others think though -

Would you like to know who wants to run to be President over the ASPC/AMHR BOD, or do you care at all?

A simple yes or no works for my question. I don't need reasons.

Of course. I usually go to Convention each year so that I can follow what is happening.

SO , naturally it is important to know who is wanting to hold the reins to the organization.

It is "supposed" to be OUR organization -- so I cannot imagine anyone NOT wanting to know.

ABSOLUTELY! As it was told, the members have the ultimate decision on everything. Why wouldn't we be told prior to convention so we could verbalize our concerns, if any, on any presidential candidate?
