Is there any word whether security on the grounds has been beefed up to prevent the theft of trailers, carts, etc.?

It does very clearly mention this in the premium book each year.

It is too darn hot to make your horses stand in a trailer for 2 hours while you wait to unload. Hope all read and acknowledge this. We have gotten there at 2 and had to wait to unload. So dont hurry to get there right at noon either.

Any concers regarding Security, you need to call Lenard. I'm sure they have upped the anty some but you still must take precautions. Lock all doors, buy a tongue lock for both a bumper pull and gooseneck, lock your spare tires and don't leave anyting inside of your trailer where a person can take it.

Bumping this back to the top. As far as security, as awful as it sounds my advice is to never leave anything out. Always lock your tack stall. Hide anything that may entice someone to steal. Lock your doors on your trailer and vehicle at all times. Take the time to purchase locks for trailer hitches. Also all of us need to look out for each other. If you see someone snooping around and it doesn't look right, even if it isn't in your area walk over towards the area like you belong there. If it is someone up to no good they will leave. Talk to everyone there.
