I have been trying to save a new avatar on my settings and it will not take the new one. I am browsing on my computer and it brings up the old one only it is distorted. Any ideas, suggestions? I have tried sending it to my imagestation online in the url address one and it gives me this error message.

Sorry, that is not a valid file extension

Help! (pulling out hair smiley needed)

I don't know if this will help, what I do is I create an avatar, upload it to photobucket, then upload it to my controls (update avatar). Sometimes it will upload from my computer to L'il Beg and sometimes not. That is why I use photobucket now. Works everytime.

I hope I didn't confuse you more.

Thank you very much Farmhand--photobucket did the trick. Funny, imagestation works on the forum for posting. This makes it a little more fun, since I do like to change them around.

Terri, if you ever want a rotating one, just email the pics you want in it to me and I'll make it and email it back. I know I'm not the webpage wizard we both hoped but I do know how to make rotating avatars

[email protected] I love your guy in the snow. He looks exactly the way Smidgen would if she had good conformation to go with the awesome color (poor Smidgen). Your guy is sooo nice!

Jill, Could you tell me how to make the rotating one? I would like to try it. Thanks, Kathy

Thank you for the offer, I will keep it in mind.

Nat really isn't in the snow

I have this program that came with my new printer and it can put snow in pictures. I was playing last night with a couple of pics, it will even put little twinkly stars on the shiny parts of their feet.

Kinda cute and fun to play with.

I do hope Nat looks good in the spring after I get him in a little condition, it is so hard for me to see thru all that hair. I have been grooming him in my head all winter, I should be pretty good at it come spring

What editing programs do you have? You need a .gif animantor to make them.

Something like Picture It (in there it is called "flipbook") there are many free ones on line. Just do a Google search for "free .gif animators" (without the quotes). If you have an older version of Photo Suite by MGI version 4 that also has it. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Just got up work nights

Thanks Farmhand I have Picture it 9, it came with my computer. Ill check it out. Kathy

If you have Picture It it should be the "full" version not a "special edition" check it out. Usually the ones that come bundled with computers are the limited edition. You can upgrade to the full version or Digital Image Suite, which contains everything for a reasonable price. Here's a newsgroup for Picture It, they can help you with issues if someone on this forum doesn't have an answer.
