I dont take letting my pets go lightly to say the least. It isnt completely official as he is going on a trial period but I am pretty positive this will be his new home. I know he will be taken care of.

Our clubs presidents son is takeing him.

I am sure Mitzy will miss him as will I. I will probably miss him more then Mitzy, as she does do much better as being my only dog as she is very jealous of him.

Now, its down to just Mitzy, for now I will hang on to her, but do feel in the long run she to will be better off in another home.

I just keep telling myself with going to school, my job schedual and horses its better for them to have another family. It would be very selfish of me to keep them.

That said, hopefully with him going to somebody close by I will see him once in awhile.

He is a very cute dog. My son has one, Lucy , that looks very much like him. Hope you are both going to be happier in the long run.

Awww, that is bittersweet, but I know you will be relieved to not have the extra stress even though you will also miss him.

I know it's probably a very difficult decision to have come to and I'm sorry he has to go, but you know he's well and healthy and that is worth a lot, also.

Best wishes,

Liz

I do miss him and it was harder to come home then I thought. Its different not haveing my jumping bundle of joy around.

He spent the day as a lap dog in a office where his new owner works.

THey are only about 20 mins away so I can see him.

I did get a email when I got home saying he is well and learning what stairs are and what not. He also got to meet the other Jack Russel who belongs to his owners mom.

I do think this was for the best of Jack, however very hard for me as well as Mitzy I think. Althou Mitzy did just enjoy a very full game of fetch and is now chewing a raw hide. I for some reason think she will get over it better then me.

Awww Ashley, I'm sorry to hear that, but I know you love him too much to ever make him unhappy. Hope this will be a good thing for you both although I'm sure it will hurt a bit at first but putting his needs ahead of your own is just what people who love thier animals do.
