I had a great time at the FFA national convention! I had three weeks to study since I was a substitute, and I brought home a gold in environmental science! Our team got a silver which is my advisor's first team silver ever, and first individual gold. I was actually the top in my group with 384 points out of 500. I was ranked 51st in the nation, and our team was 20th in the nation. I am very excited!

I also got to go to Church Hill Downs, and got a personal tour from the manager. I got to watch the horses warm up, it was so cool.

It was an awesome experience, I cannot wait for Indianapolis next year!

You had a great experience! So happy for you. This is one trip you will always remember. Congratulations. My cousin is one of the higher ups there at Chuchill Downs in management. Her name is Celine. She gave me the grand tour there about 20+ years ago. What a place. Impressive, isn't it? I didn't want to leave. The thoroughbred business is a whole nuther life.

Thank you!

Lyn, I cannot wait until I can bring her home. We have been looking for a transporter so maybe she could come home earlier, but their prices are way more than .45 a mile.
