McCain said on Friday he fears that al Qaeda or another extremist group might attempt spectacular attacks in Iraq to try to tilt the U.S. election against him.
I can see that happening short term........ Their ultimate goal though is to destroy the United States long term. That can best be done through weak leadership, someone who has no experience & that would be Obama! Move McCain out of the way so the target will be easier to hit!

For the sake of us all wouldn't it be best to not put Obama in the White House?

I agree, Cathy! Unfortunately, I "predict" before the end of next year, you and I will be shaking our heads and thinking "we told you so." Hope we're wrong, one way or another.

For those want to talk about McCain's predictions, how about reflecting upon his cautions two years ago about the dangerous potential from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae... while McCain warned Congress, Obama was lining his pockets.

OK McCain made a prediction too. But his prediction was "in Iraq" hardly the same thing Biden and Powell said. Man...talk about fear-mongering, those two are spreading it around big time.

Hey, Powell supports Obama. I would bet that he has this nations best interests at heart. I have said since the last election that the next new President will probably have an attack the first year, it seems to be Al Quedas M.O. I do not think that McCain will be able to stop it before it happens, neither do I think Obama can. Not just be being in office. And I think that both would have the knowledge and support to handle it if it happens. To say that one guy is so inept that you must vote the other guy in, is akin to Bush' 'you're with us, or you're with them' actually, I kinda wonder why McCain hasnt started saying that.............yet, maybe?

Powell supports Obama.
Or Powell was coerced by concerned people into joining Obama due to Obama's lack of experience. :DOH! Our leaders have to convince the World that the office of the president is strong even though our president may not be!

Remember Powell went along before with something else he did not approve of either.
