Well I'm not much help on items to bring to a BBQ, can only think of one...........

My Mom always makes her 3-Bean Salad for any type of potluck thing.

As for corn on the cob, we eat it at least once a week. Leave it in the husks, shove it on the grill, wait 15 minutes, flip it over, wait 10-15 more minutes. Take it off, let it cool for 5 minutes and de-husk it. Then slather with butter!!!

YUMMY!!! :bgrin

How about pork chops? We like to grill the steak type pork chops so they come off sizzling! So good!!! I also love to do big juicy double cheese burgers! Hubby likes Brats.

I gotta quit reading this thread, it makes me drool!

I'm saving lots of ideas here! Thank you! You're all awesome!

Pammy you caught me! LOL! The thing is, I think you'll like my Mexican meal the night before even better!

I don't think you'll go away hungry!

Wouldn't be great if everyone could come? The fun and laughter we'd have!

Now I'm thinking about PIE! I love pie too! Been years since I had any! *whimper* LOL

Can I come Robin :bgrin

Heres one idea thats a big hit at our house:

Take big red potatoes, slice them about 6 to 8 times (depends on the size of your potato) about 1/2" thick almost to the bottom of the potato, fill in with onion and cut up bacon. Put the potato in tin foil (make sure you poke holes in the top of the tinfoil with a knife or fork for steam) and cook them on the grill before you cook your meat. People go wild over these. I will also make them during the winter in the oven.

We also enjoy taking a big slice of salmon, put it in tin foil, and add butter, salt, and pepper...after its done cooking I squeeze lemon over it... soooo yummy!

Picnics? BBQ? What are those?? never done one

:bgrin
