Being Valentines Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Hubby said he is taking me out for supper after we go see someones new mini colt.

Did you get an early gift, or know what you might be getting & would like to share.

Poor hubby, I got him all things he needed.... socks, mens Nivea shaving cream, and mens nivea after shave balm. Theyre supposed to be the best for sensetive skin, but hubby would never splurge and buy them for himself, he would rather have a beat red face after shaving, because he wouldnt stop using the "manly" smelling cheaper products

I also got him some candy, but not much.

As far as valentines day for me, I have no clue what hes planning for tomorrow, but I know I have to be up by 10am to go get it with him (10 am is early for me, I work night shift)

Along with that he is letting me use our entire tax return for horse related stuff, well, 1/2 towards my new horse, 1/2 towards a new trailer.

I totally forgot tomorrow is Valentines until I saw this post...good thing hubby and I don't do V day or I'd be up the creek without a paddle! We just do our Anniversary not Vday. I do always call my nieces and nephews though so thanks for the reminder...I use to get them candy but they are all teenagers and young adults now so I just call them..

We have a gift certificate, so we plan to go to supper, otherwise we'd probably just stay home. I highly doubt I'll be getting anything, and I didn't get him any thing. [Although, I should probably look into the Nivea shaving products, as my DH has sensitive skin, too. Thanks for the tip.]

Well I already got my gift(s).... Hubby bought me 2 massages and also took me out tonight to a local BBQ place that is excellent... We are just going to lounge the rest of the night and watch a movie I believe... We normally dont do much other than that

after 20 years being together,me and my hubby have decided that we wont be getting each other anything for valentines day,

we dont need to be dictated to anymore by the commercial side of things,

i know my husband loves me, when i see him spending thousands on my horses , and hes out in the pouring rain feeding them,

and he knows i love him , when i gave birth to three children for him,

everyday is valentines day in my house

We normally don't do anything for Valentine's Day, and hubby works tomorrow night. We sometimes get gifts for each, and this year I'm hoping to get the CD "The Rhythm of the Ride" by Mary Ann Kennedy.

I wish we could do something special for each other, but we'll just have to make do with a hug.

We'll be together and there is love every day. My hubby is the BEST!

Well I got two new horses which is the best gift ever! and of course chocolates and a card!

Well, all the dogs gave me a card this morning. What good dogs they are.

You mean BESIDES the manure spreader? Yeah, he did good. I got a single red rose, big box of Chocolate covered cherries, a dozen chocolate roses, plus a stuffed toy. AND we're going to dinner tonight. He's the best!!

Well, back home from a very nice day with hubby.

Took me out for brunch.

Went and visited and seen Amelia and Johns new colt from Fran and Walt.

Another remarkable horse / Loved his face and legs on that one.

Had a very nice visit. Always something to talk about.. No dull moment with John.

Amelia always has the coffee pot on.

Than picked up groceries thinking I was heading back home to make supper than on the way home Hubby said where would you like to eat for Supper

What a lovely relaxing day.

He did the horses in the morning and again when we got back tonight..

Oh forgot to mention a nice card with $30.00 in to buy myself something

Way too much... What a thoughtful guy he was today.

My hubby always gets me Chocolate covered strawberries-they are my fav and I only ask for them once a year. He doesnt want anything.. We show each other we love each other everyday and have a great relationship .. He calls me everyday and when I say Hello, He says "hows the most Beautiful girl in the world?

He also calls and says he just wants to hear my voice or hear me talk

We believe you should treat other with love and respect everyday not just on Valentines, b-day, or whatever holiday. We have friends that have to spend lots of money on holidays, thats not what its about for us.

My hubby works in Prudhoe Bay Alaska and this Valentines day is during his time there. BUT before he left he arranged to have flowers sent to my work on Friday....then calls and tells me that there is something in the truck for me to open on Saturday. (his dually that I don't drive) He put something in there before he left. He did some shopping before he went to work LOL

Chocolate, and a few goodies and 2 cards because he could not decide which one he liked better. Thought that was pretty sweet.

I sent him a box of goodies too. Who knew that you could send anything to Prudhoe Bay Alaska sooooo far away LOL

We spent the night at a castle called Kilronan Castle and treated ourselves to a few treatments at the spa ..it was fabulous
