My smokey black silver dapple colt, as a weanling, about two days old:

(his full brother, who was a palomino, also had these same colored eyes at birth)

His eyes as a yearling. They are still a very pale, olive-brown color, and add to his overall expressive personality!

I love his eyes, and I like blue eyes, and was hoping his would stay this color, but they didn't, though I still like the color.

I've known a few minis w/golden yellow eyes (not champagnes, either), and wish I had taken good pics when I saw them. Both were a deep liver chestnut color w/no difference in points.

This is his full sister, Fiesty. Her eyes darkened but they still have blue specks in them.
