Blue Roan?

Hi All,

I know this sounds silly, but I don't see typical dark areas on my mini's legs, but his face is definitely darker than his body. Just wondering... Would you guys say he is a blue roan?

I haven't even had a him a full year yet, so these pictures are a combination of how he arrived to me all mangled and needing deworming to being so hot this summer.. it's been a process : )

Of course, I am still far from an expert in the field of horses, but I have heard that the intensity of coloring can vary from season to season. Maybe the color will still show up?) Anyway, he's very cute!

wow so interesting! Thank you. Since this is a new(er) term for me, does that mean he'll lighten the way greys do with age or stay this color? minus the seasonal color changes
