Bonus First Foals

You know how hard it is keeping website current - so since we only had foal/newborn pics of this little colt - we tried our best to get some good updated shots yesterday. I don't care how far across the pasture you zoom in - those ice blue eyes just grab you! I'm not sure which ones to use now! LOL

Bonus (Buckeroo and L&D Scout grandson) had his first foals this year - 2 colts and 2 fillies (one of which sold to England). We couldn't be happier with what he produces.

We are always discouraged (wanting to throw the camera) with unsuccessful shots but this little man is just oh so photogenic!

And check out the SAME BLAZE on Momma & Baby - they are identical - - - never noticed until I snapped this picture last night. He looks as tall as his momma but his momma is 28 inches so she's tiny and they are on a hill from the angel of the camera:

He is deffinately photo genic! It's nice to have one like that! I have a black colt this year that is to die for...... Gorgeous head & body....... but the MOST unphotogenic horse! So I will have to wait til' next spring for new pictures of him.

Thanks everyone - he's been away from his momma a couple weeks now and has done just great. He is becoming our favorite with those blue eyes - and he knows how to work them too! Just makes everyone melt. LOL

He's going to be tiny - about 29" - his dam is tiny and Bonus is 31". We actually rebred the same pair again for next year since this little guy turned out so nice (so we think anyway). Hopefully we get a filly next go round. ha
