Bored Kids Got our Mailbox agian

Last night i guess someone (guessing some kids from my school) went by and threw a pumpkin at our mailbox, didnt tip it over ...just put a huge dent in the side. Every year, same thing. Our mailbox is DOOMED. In the winter the snow plow wipes it out and in the fall the crazy kids throw pumpkins at it! I think its because Jared had a couple enemies (im step brother which made quite a name for himself for being stuckup at school ...then when he started playing for Cincinnati BearCats, it got worse). As soon as Jared got in High school it started happening ...im just sick of having to clean it up. Im not letting mom out there to clean up that mess in 45degree weather and dad doesnt need to do it so i do it. So the next two nights are going to be fun-filled. Im planning on loading up on Coffee tommarow night and sitting on the steps with coco and seeing who it truly is this year!

Anyone else have these problems?

YES. We gave up having a mailbox and rented a box in the post office. The mailbox was across the road from us. Kids destroyed 2 of our boxes. Then they beat the crap out of our 9-1-1 sign which was setting up on our property about 10 feet from the road. They had to get out of their vehicle to do it. I don't get upset when the snow plow wipes our box out, but I really feel violated when the kids do it.

Last night was our first time. Both of our boxes were beat to pieces. Must have taken several good whacks at it. The snots must have had quite a ball last night. I counted over 50 boxes that I saw smashed or were brand spankin' new today. No others on our street was touched. It's a deadend. But there were many on all the through streets in our rural area. We couldn't even find a large box in town to replace ours, everyone was sold out.

Let's just say, it won't be happening to our box again after hubby is done with it. Not only will it be armored, but I wouldn't put it past him to ****y trap it! LOL!

Actually we've had it done to us in the past. It's a federal offense too should the kids get caught, they are in for big trouble as the post office prosecutes for this.

Happened to us a few times...I don't have any kids so I know it can't be related to other kids not liking mine! We are pretty much in the country with no neighbors real close by. We do not know anyone in this area really. I guess the kids think it's fun or something....it really ticks me off and I'd love to get my hands on one of them!

Post office is too far to get a P.O. box - My box will probably get it tonight or tomorrow I'm sure!
