Bourkes and Acrylic cage

Hi All,

Just thought I would share pictures of my Bourkes and their cage. First on is the flight cage with Rassberry and Rhubarb.

Here they are a few months old and still getting adult type feathers.

Another bourke owner here!! I have 8 of them. Have 2 pairs laying eggs but no babies yet. I have a normal male that is trying to talk, well he does say pretty bird but he has the tone of my voice more than clear words. He taught another of the bourkes to say pretty bird too so now 2 of them do it. They are nice birds.

They are just GORGEOUS Shari!!!

I wanted to get a couple of those a few years back, but decided to stick with my tiels, they sure are gorgeous though, and I hear wonderful, gentle pets! Absolutely Beautiful! Thank You for sharing pics Shari!

Love the cage too! Do you use the Ott lights?

Nice to see another Bourke owner!! I just love these birds.. they are so sweet and very quiet!

I am using the sunlight lamps for them. Not sure what a OTT light is??

My Male doesn't talk.. but can do the Wolf whistle really well!! At the most interesting times.

I love bourkes and yours are just beautiful! I raised them for awhile but i got pretty sick for awhile and had to quit raising them. i just loved them---all the colors! jennifer
