I know this has been posted in the past, but I cant seem to find it. Soooooo.....does anyone know the names and numbers of all the Breyers ever made in the miniature horse, besides the common ones--Boones Lil Buckaroo, Martins Dominique, Bond Snippet, and Midnight Tango. I do know they made some special runs, and limited ed. and of course now there will be 2 more for us to add..LTD's Red Cloud, and Magic Mans Grand Slam..cant wait till they hit the stores! Anyone do any Christmas decorating with there Breyers? I do, my bay window has all the Christmas Horses in it. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow. I would love to see your decorations with Breyers. Aside from the ones you already mentioned, there are 6:

Rearing Buckeroo - no number it is from SR1993 West Coast Model Horse Club Jamboree. Est value $50-$80

The wee Trio - they are 3 stablemates (shetland pony mold) - it is also SR from 2004 same as above. names are - Santee Dottaloosa, Legally Blonde, and Lazy Days Midnight Lightning. Est value $60-100 for set(glossy)

There are 2 merrylegs molds that are minis also - other than Bond Snippet and Martins dominique - they are 1- Bay pinto mini (jc penny three pinto collector set SR99 - est value $40) and 2- Palomino mini (horses great and small SR 1992 Sears- est value $40)

Good luck finding them - the 2 Merrylegs are very hard to find as well as the rearing buckeroo - I ended up paying more than the value simply because I couldn't find them. The wee trio comes in Matte and Glossy. Matte is very expensive.

Try Ebay!

Ick.... lots of mistakes in that article:

Breyer never made purple horses early on. Blue and gold, yes, but never purple! Even then, it wasn't until the 60s. The only purple horse I heard of was "Bourbon Street" and he was issued in 2002 at the Open House.

I have NEVER heard nor seen a "blue frost" Arabian.

Breyer didn't make lamps. They sold the models to a company that made the lamps, and that wasn't until the mid 60s.

Breyers are NOT solid. They are hollow. THAT'S why they have a hole in the nostril. The ones that don't swell in the heat, and once bloated, are ruined.

A whole new arena of collecting has broken out recently. Customizers are artists who take Breyer horses and change their appearance, maybe adding real hair to the mane and tail.
Recently? People have been customizing, again, since the 60s....

Last, but not least, BreyerFest is not a week long. Just a weekend.... (it can SEEM like a week, though!)

Someone needs to do her homework...

And to answer your original question, the Mini horses are as follows:

Midnight Tango

Boones Little Buckeroo

Both on the "Midnight Tango" mold.

And on the Merrylegs mold (some were not issued as Miniature horses):

Dapple gray (Merrylegs)

Alabaster (white)

Bond Snippitt (chestnut pinto)

Martin's Dominique (black)

Bay pinto

Palomino

Flocked black pinto with a cart (EXTREMELY hard to find)

Plus the Wee Trio in matte and gloss. You can also find the Stablemate ponies in several other colors, if you like the little guys. They were issued as Shetlands.

Yup, used to have all of them except the black flocked with cart. Never could find that one. I sold them all but the Midnight Tango molds when I needed some extra $$. Rather sell a Breyer than a real one! I found all of mine on eBay. If you subscribe to the Just About Horses magazine, they have classifieds in the back.
