butterfly bits

Hi,

I looked (although it was more of a glance) through the rulebook and couldn't find the diagrams of the bits allowed in driving. Are butterflies allowed without the curb chain or a strap in place of the chain? I am thinking I remember no curb chains at all, I just can't remember if straps are allowed.

Not allowed outside of draft harness and chariot classes

No leverage bits, period, not matter if you're using the snaffle setting or not.

I think you might technically be legal on the top ring with no curb strap (that's essentially what a Myler is, after all,) but wouldn't count on the judges knowing that. I don't want to risk being DQ'd!
