Jet
WAS in the 2009 AMHR Futurity and needs to be
SUSTAINED in 2010 as a three year old if you are going to show him in the 2010 Regular Futurity at the Nationals.
Jet was actually placed 11th on the card shown for the on-line show results for his Futurity class, and if someone was not sustained in his class that placed he would have moved up to 10th place afterall.
The Futurity in question IS the Super G Futurity.
Jet
IS ELIGABLE for the Super G for 2010. There was a miss understanding about the Super G fee's and not knowing that ....having the double the fee's if you waited until being a 3 year old to enter the Super G.
Jet was gelded on April 13, 2009 which was past the deadline of April 1st, 2009 ...at that time for being in the Super G program, so he would have had to be brought into the Super G program as being eligable in 2010.
We we were told last year when I called the office that you could pay the $100.00, but apparently that was just for sustaining him for that particular year if he would have made the deadline. I did not know back in 2009 when I called that the apparent fee's that were going to be $350.00 instead of $100.00 until yesterday afternoon after me calling the office to clarify with Joe on the phone.. which $350.00 is that amount if you wait till they are three years old to put them in the Super G. I had no idea that it would be that much of an amount, we were originally told $100.
When I spoke to Joe yesterday about this and he did mention that he should have made things clearer about the program on how the fee's work and perhaps had clarified it better thru the years from the start of nominations.
It was a honest mistake and a learning experience of the Super G fee's and program. I have had other people that I know claim that they also all thought the same as myself, pay the $100.00 at the end, now I know the details after being explained better over the phone.
This program is very confusing compared to the regular Futurity program that they have.
Everyone can make mistakes and nobody
IS PERFECT and there are others beside me and including
yourself that didn't understand the paperwork formalities as well for this program ! Bottom line !
