Hello,

I wanted to know how many folks have wives, husbands and children playing xbox games and etc. My husband got call to duty 3 for christmas and he plays for hours. My husband has found a new love with this game sometimes he is up all night with the game.

Others out there go through this with their family members.I know he enjoy this game, but sometimes he is into the game to much.

: I try to think of the games as a good thing for them, but who knows he could be doing something worst.

thanks melissa

I GOT ONE I GOT ONE

it does not matter if it's a computer game a three part movie or a video game my b/f will stay up all night playing it if I don't make him come to bed. It would not surprise me if he waited for me to fall asleep and then he left to go play computer games. I can't say it's bad for him, but sometimes it's bad for "us". He does stop to sleep and work and spend time with me but sometimes I want to through it all out the window... You know right now it's 11:30 at night and you know what he is doing? working on his computer thingy coding text based game blah blah blah

I agree with you. My husband is playing his xbox right now. He really enjoys those games, but staying up alnight is not good for you.He reminds me of a child with a new toy(haha). I guess we all have something we like to do and his is the games(he also likes go hunting). I love to found out as much as I can about horses and other animals. I have try playing games, but it isn't for me. I am a computer person I guess, because I love to read the forum on lilbeginngs.

you all are great,

melissa

I have not played the game your are talking about but LOVE Zelda type games! Only thing is, I play them too slow (play them too sporatically) so I am still working on Ocarina of Time (I have the disk that works in the Gamecube).

Then there are some adventure video games (like Mario type ones) where I loose my temper way too fast and just can't play without pitching a fit!

My husband, my children and I try playing this game the other night. The new games have to many buttons for me. :new_shocked: I like the easy games like pac man or something. My husband likes to play call to duty online with his online friends.

We have 2 PS2 machines -- we each had one prior to marrying -- good thing, because we are both addicts!

He loves all the Call to Duty games - has them all and has played them at every level possible (e.g. plays them multiple times). I prefer games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy - and Jak and Daxter etc..

I dont' have that game, but I play Sims2 for hours on end. I love that game. I'm getting a Wii for my birthday so I'm sure my fiance and I will be on that alot.

I got Call To Duty for hubby for Christmas and he does enjoy it. Can't say he's addicted to it...but on weekends, he enjoys playing for a couple of hours at a time before he hits the lights. I liken it to me and my computer time.

OMG!!!!! I thought i was the only Call To duty widow on the planet! Can we start a support group? tee hee hee. My husband is not a gamer of any kind so when he took off with this game and now wants the others too, wow. I love it though. It is so good to see him do something just for fun.
