Not really a mini topic, but I love looking at all of the photos that are posted. I want to buy a camera but not sure what kind to buy that will provide the best pics. What do you guys use? If I ever get a pic of my little devil I would love to post it and get some feedback

I don't want manual settings so I have a Canon PowerShot SI S5. 12 megapixels and 20x digital zoom. It is great with video too.

Best advice is patience. You have to take about 30-100 pics to get one good one. Set aside the time to spend there. Use the sports setting and take consecutive pics.

I have a cannon rebel as well and LOVE it. I have a normal lens as well as a bigger sport one. You can see some of my shots on our website (Stallions, mares, foals)....and all the albums on fb are from it.

I have a kodak that I paid a lot of money for, problem is with a digital is it takes so long and you lose a lot of pictures you used to be able to get with a camera that uses film. Cameras that use film you can snap and snap and get that one perfect shot, with digital you have a time span inbetween. I think there has to be a better way.
