We took the kids to the Oklahoma Aquarium, on the outskirts of Tulsa, this weekend. It was a bit pricey (over $50 for 2 adults and 2 kids), but a LOT of fun. Just though I'd share a few pics.

Can you spot the fish??

This starfish reminded me of Patrick from Spongebob, LOL.

My kids couldn't hardly stand to look at this guy because they said he was ugly. I thought he was cute

This one was taken from inside the shark tunnel. That was really neat, but it made us dizzy to walk through there because the lights were weird. Kinda like trying to walk with a disco ball going.

I have a LOT more pics, including more from the shark tunnel, here. Thanks for letting me share!

Cool! I'd love to get to see something like that! I spotted the fish in all the pxr's except the 1st one. That's an awsome shark px'r... the black all around him makes him look mysterious.

Thans for sharing.

/ bottom right corner of the tank it has orange on it and it is the size of the other rocks.

I really enjoyed the Oklahoma Aquarium when B and I went during Nationals 2005! I loved the "feed the fish" and "feed the turtles" areas!

First off the fact that you had a chance to go there during nationals is quite impressive sometimes I cant even seem to find time to go potty

Looks like a really cool place thoughI love stuff like that and raven would go crazy there!

Neat pictures...I just love starfish! I've been to the Baltimore Aquarium and we have the NJ state aquarium real closeby to us (20 minute drive) and we've never been to it altho we say each year we're going to go.

I can't spot the fish in the first pic either.

Oh Sterling, if we had an aquarium that close, we'd be living there! We're actually thinking of buying the family membership for the OK aquarium because it would pay for itself in just 2 trips (even though it's over 2 hours away).

Susan was right, the fish is the orange "rock" in the bottom right corner. He was hard for even us to spot, being right there. He wasn't moving at all, it was SO cool!

When we go back, we're going on a Monday, during school. That's when we went the last time I took the girls and the place was nearly empty, and that's when they feed all of the fish. It was MUCH better then. We usually try to get to the zoo when we go to Tulsa (spending the night) but it was just WAY too cold for anything outdoors this weekend.

Well - we were only showing Appy, and he was with Joel White, so we had some "down time" to explore the Tulsa area - B went and met some fellow Toby Keith fans, Ginger and I went to an Indian Heritage Center (and later to a Casino!) and B and I went to the Aquarium.... that was it, the rest of the time was at the show!

It was great, since I never really go anywhere very far away because of the horses and other animals...

That sounds great I bet there are so many neat things to do there!

Our big adventure was as silly as it sounds we saw a fox in the parking lot in the middle of the night no where near as cool as a aquarium
