I just got a used Jerald pleasure cart. It looks really good. The tires are in good shape. I don't see anything that's off or rubbing but I hear a sound like rubber makes when it's being rubbed (sort of squeeky) when the cart is moved around.

Anyone want to venture a guess as to what it is or where I should look? Would like to used it this weekend but don't want to do any damage

If there is an inner tube, it isn't in properly, might be twisted?

If it is a twisted inner tube it will go flat soon. Does the single tree squeak at all? Or maybe it is your wrap straps moving on the patent leather?

Any chance that the cart has the solid foam inserts in the tires? I've heard those will squeak, esp. if they aren't quite the right size...? Just a thought.

Also, if you think it is originating someplace that you can 'reach' w/ a lubricant...I have had good luck using a silicon spray(which is non-oily and doesn't attract dust); just check the can for any surfaces you should NOT use it on before applying it!

Tighten all the bolts on the cart. Mine makes noise also, and I usually find a nut has gotten loose. It is a good idea to go over you bolts each time you use the cart. I had one holding my basket on, come off!

Had to use bailing wire to hold it on for the show, as I didn't have another long bolt with a wing nut to hold it on. Kind of "hayseed",

but it worked till I got a new bolt. I check more often now!

Thing is it was squeeky with no horse attached. I'll check all those other suggestions. Thanks

I have a squeak in my show cart that goes away when I spray WD-40 on/into the wheel hubs. Maybe I just need to grease them, hmmm.

Do Jeralds have an axle stub? We have had a squeak like that from the oil seal rubbing on the axle stub. A little lubricant on the inside of the hub where it meets the stub will help that squeak.
