I'm sorry guys, This question shows how blond and un-knowing I really am!!

What are categorys for the mini horses? OH!

I know there are A, B, C, Ect...

But what do they mean?

Whats the highest? Lowest?

are they in heights or grades?

Help me, please!!!!!

In AMHA there is one height category only, which includes all horses up to and including 34".

In AMHR, there is an "Under" division, which includes all horses up to and including 34", and an "Over" division which includes any horse over 34" up to and including 38".

They are only height divisions, and has nothing at all to do with the grade, or the quality of the horse. The AMHR Under and Over divisions used to be known as "A" and "B" Division, and I think that is why they changed the wording to "over" and "under", so people did not get the misconception that the "over"(or "B") division was less worthy than the "under" (or "A") division.
