This might be different because I am a guy, and not into decorative trinkets or things like that, but I always get really strange gifts from relatives who think that since I am involved with horses, I will like anything with a horse painted on it. Here are some things I can count on each year, or have received over the years....
Horse wind chimes(I live with my parents while I save for grad school, so the wind chimes are hung in my closet)
An ugly teal sweatshirt with a horse galloping on the shoreline.
Several horse calendars each year(I use one at the barn, and stack the rest in the closet)
Coffee mugs with horses on them(I don't drink coffee)
A frame with a picture of a horse in it(not my horse)
Horse books(Such as "horses for dummies" and "The Horse Whisperer")
(Not Horse related, but Mom always gives me a chocolate Santa, and she knows I never eat it because I don't like the chocolate, but I get it every year anyway)
Horse bumper stickers that I would never actually put on my car.
Random things from the tack shop(The salesperson told them it would "make a good gift")
Tiz the season of gift giving, and it is always fun to hear about those odd gifts, but be careful you don't talk about a gift you got from someone here on the forum...
