Well thank goodness for Mare Stare!
Clementine foaled at 6 am this morning (the foal is still wet as I write this). She did not lay down long enough to set off the alarm, but Wendy from Florida called me and woke me up to let me know it was happening.
She did it on her own and the foal was out of the sack and trying to stand while I was throwing clothes on and heading for the barn.
It is a Bay Colt with bright blue eyes, a large star that looks like the African continent and some white on his coronet bands.
Our ninth and last foal of the year
