I love to cook. I mean from scratch. Over the years (and I'm not going to say just how many years) I have compiled my own cookbook. These are tried and true recipes. Things that my kids have eaten their whole lives. Now that my kids and getting older and my girls have started to call me for recipes, I am planning on taking my binder to a printing place and have it actually made into a cook book, all bound and everything, and give one to each of my children. I don't want to title it "Mom's Cookbook" because that's too plain. I want something catchy, even silly (mainly because they would expect something like that). But I am absolutely blank. Nothing. Nada. (totally unlike me)

Can anyone think of something appropriate? You guys are so clever. Help me out.

I like "Shut up and Eat!" and if its just for your kids, then perhaps add some motherly wisdom to the pages here and there.

Oooh Shelley. How exciting. As a writer of historical fiction, I love to think up book titles. Are you sure you are going to publish/print this yourself and just for your family or have you considered printing as an ebook, or even with a publisher, for the world to see? Good luck with your book. Would you like to also join our writer forum? Published writers of all genres, will give you tons of help to get your book published or how to publish yourself. As you know, there are more cookbooks out there, than any other. Some have incredibly long titles. If you are thinking of just printing copies for your children and family, the title might be quite different from the title if considering a published work for all the world to see. What is your plan?

You might also want to think about making it in e-book format. E-books are simple to format (if you don't have pictures) and are a lot of fun. My sister and I are doing our family recipes in an ebook. Years ago she made us all a bound cookbook but over the years they all fell apart. So we are now going to do an e-book version and email it to all of our family members.
