Sure why not? What is the difference from life created in a Petri Dish. OR some semen that has been stored in Liquid Nitrogen for years? After all that is what most dairy and cattle farm animals are "created" now days, is by AI, and that frozen semen shipped all over the world. I see no difference at all.

Absolutely not would I eat meat if I knew it was cloned! I don't believe in cloning. I think it is morally wrong! Sheila

sure I would, provided it wasn't any more expensive to buy than "regular" meat.

Someone was mentioning the life span of meat animals. That reminds me of the time a friend of mine moved to the country and their new place came with a few chickens. She asked me if I knew what the life span of a chicken was. I told her that from what I've seen they generally live only a few months, unless they were laying hens, then they'd be around a couple years before they become stewing hens...she laughed, because she hadn't been thinking of them in terms of being meat!

Yep I would. Sure its not natural....but...just what is NATURAL these days? Halters, trailers, fences???

There is nothing wrong with the DNA, and certainly nothing that would harm a human.

I view it somewhat like the BSE issue--there is NO way to tell BSE milk from nonBSE, so of course someone had the bright idea to stick a label on their milk, proclaiming it BSE free--and in reality, would not be able to prove it!

What does "normally" raised calf meat taste like??
It's delicious - leaner and tastier. We generally butcher the calves in their second summer (so they are 1.5 years old) and that'll feed our five families for a year.

Sure would, but one question, how can this be cost effective? Seems like the old fashioned way is cheaper...
I'm guessing they'd clone ones that grew big from as little feed as possible (the best meat producers)?

Too bad they cannot clone all ribeye and filet mignon ones!!!!!!!!
