This was an e-mail I just got. Also talked to Paula, she needs help very badly. If you can and are

in the Gainsville area please let me know and I can put you in touch with her. The UF Vet Medical Center

in FL has as of today stopped treatment on her little girl. Paula is very understandably upset.

Thanks in advance.

was hoping you could give me some advice on what to do. I have a mini filly (3 days old). She was born with problems in her hips and back legs. They can be corrected with surgery. She is very healthy otherwise. She is currently at UF Vet. Medical Center in Gainesville , FL. The problem is, I am disabled myself on a limited income, I've tried sending info out online and in every paper I know of asking for donations for this baby. The surgery is going to be quite expensive and they won't even start the surgery until I have at least $1000.00. The surgeon came right out today and told me if I couldn't afford the surgery, maybe it best I put her down. Is this right? That sounds so cold. Is there anyone out the to help this baby? Please let me know if you do know of someone. Thank you, Paula Sapp

I WOULD LOVE TO HELP OUT BUT HOW CAN I??? I LOVE MINIATURES AND LOVE HER BY HER PICTURE SHE IS GERGEOUS AND A CUTIE PIE!!!!!!

She is a love isn't she... The owner will have to make a decision. The cost of the surgery

could go over $4000.00. The vet truly believes that if she had just one of her problems

she would be ok. She has some major problems one of which is pneumonia.

Please say a prayer for this little one and her owner I'm sure Paula will appreciate it.

Ummmm Gini...what geldings? Any update on the filly? We don't have enough money for her surgery, is there any other way we can help?
