Is Tuffy a blue roan? Sorry hard to tell with appy's and being new dont understand the colours yet.

Not blue roan-a black appaloosa with appaloosa varnishing. Works kind of like roaning does, but varnishes on the face and legs as well (whereas a true roan will not). It looks as though your boy will be a near leopard and is varnishing to get there. Will probably end up with just a bit of color on his neck, head, and legs and the rest will be white with spots.
