Computer trouble AGAIN!

I recently (1/20/06) had the puter cleaned out and updated and then today after I had checked my mail and here the darn thin won't let me into my mail, my ebay and my personal things. I can get here and search the internet no problem. I got a pop up saying that my norton needed to be uninstalled and reinstalled due to a problem.

: Called the puter folks and they just said to bring it in.

: They also suggest I try microtrends.com/housecalls and when I try to click that up I get the "page cannot be dispalyed" thing also. WEIRD!!! Anyone else having troubles? This is just too weird. Being a puter addict is awful!

Do you by any chance have popup windows coming up that say your machine is having critical errors and you need to install something called "Winfixer"?

Hey Debi this has happened to me on more than one occasion when LaMar and Maurice had to get a clean out.

None of my stuff recognized me anymore!!!! And that BITES!

You can try your "history" and "system restore" and see if that works.

I had a heck of a time with all this crap happening to me so much.

Now I have "La Tush" which is XP and I haven't had near the problems that I did with 98

What was the nature of the problem that prompted the restore?

If virus/malware infection is suspected, scan the system using the
