A friend of mine called this morning from Nova Scotia to ask us if we were ok,..this morning,

I told her that we were and asked her why?

She then told us about this,.....

Our potash mine catches fire!



We live next door to the mine,...and we didnt know anything about it!!!

We are glad that everyone is ok,..as we have friends that work there,....

My friend thought that we mightve had to be evacuated or somthing,....it is surprizing what might be going on around you and you dont even realize it!!!! :no:

I was just reading about this. It sounds like the mine had all kinds of emergency supplies and sealed rooms just for such an event. So glad that all were saved.
