Appy -- I love what you did with my picture. Thank you!
Diana- If you'd be willing to donate some pictures that would be great. Thank you. But please get permission and if it is okay maybe I could use them in the jumping and training to drive booklets that will be my next project if the programs goes well this year. I want to give them a finished booklet this week so it is going to limit how much I add to it for now. Want to get it turned in so they can't change thier minds. There's a few big horse people who don't want the mini's, so I'm going to get the beginner project done for this year and the deal sealed with the office before they figure a way to push us out. My group of kids and Mini's pulled a few ribbons, and trophies from the big guys. I think they thought we were a joke with our pocket ponies. The kids and ponies did great they were all beginners kids and horses!
Watcheye - I'd be happy with a single mini. for this years cover. I would have until end of FEB. to get this done, But since I've decided I'm in a hurry to get'er done. I'm lookin' hard for a Pic a.s.a.p. If you have something, great! I don't wanna rush you though. But when you in the mood I'm going to need more pics. as I update the books.
This first book Intro to mini's has 8 Areas of Interest or sections:
1. Mini Magic/History of the Mini Horse
2. Parts of a horse and distinguishable markings
3.Horse sense/approaching and leading your horse
4.Feeding
5.Grooming
6. Hoof care
7. Your horse's health
8. Having fun with your mini - this is where I could add some funs pics on a extra page. Maybe a picture of a mini to color too?
I get new ideas every time I think about this project.
The Booklet is only 14 pgs. so it is fairly basic but a good place to start.
Thanks to all of you for your help!
