Can we do it? Can we finally get the horses in the new barn? I'm praying, trust me.
The sand for the floor has been delivered today (saturday). It goes over the gravel.
The rest of the wood to build the stall doors has arrived too.
Jerry's on the saw building the doors. He has 7 more to build.
The boys and two more of their friends are scheduled to get 16 tons of sand in the stalls any way they can and that is not going to be easy.
My job is to get all the construction material out of the way and load it all in the two utility trailers so they can get to the stalls without stuff in the way, and rake and level the sand as it comes in to the stalls.
Oh yea and I have to keep everyone in food and drinks. That's easy. I have been cooking for the past 4 hours tonite making one heck of a feast for the work party, that I'll have on the picnic table that we hauled up to the barn area for easy access.
Then Sonny is going to be put to work! Sonny has been elected to go into each stall and pack it all down as much as it's going to. Why bother with a tamper when we've got Sonny!!!!!!! YIP YIP YIP
Once this is done, then I can get the buckets up and all that hardware by myself which is easy and fill the stalls with shavings.
Wish us well and keep your fingers crossed that all will go smoothly tomorrow please?
