Has anyone dealt with this? I have had my dog get surgery and now 7 weeks later we are going back in again for a possible redo on the surgery.

Not sure what the problem is, but about 20% of dogs who have no meniscal tears at surgery will tear post-op requiring a second surgery.

My newfie had ACL repair surgery but that was back in 1998 and I'm sure techniques have improved. He had a long recovery but in the end, he did quite well.

She had a full tear of her ACL back the end of July and had surgery the first week of August. she was recovering great up until about 2 weeks ago. It started with her being slightly off in her gait to this week being 3 legs lame. When I went in last week to check they started me on different exercises. When i went in today, they scheduled me for an emergency surgery spot for tomorrow. The vet want sure what's going on but wants to sort it out ASAP for her.
