Was in the Mall and the Holy Rollars from the Church there were singing in the center performing for everyone. They looked so beautiful in their burgandy and white robes and sang wonderful. If you were not lifted by them, something was wrong with you. Clapping and tamburines banging, it was great. Later on, and there were one of those things in the music department where you can press a button on the display, and that music will play you a preview. So there's this little bitty kid, one of the choir kids and he presses the button and gets Burl Ives version of Jingle Bells. The little kid stood straight up at attention, hands at his side and very carefully sang softly to the music.

Pressed the button the second time.

He began to sing louder and this time began clapping his hands with the beat of the music and his body began to sway back and forth.

Pressed the button the third time and this time, this kid was getting down. He began to really sing it loud, and clapping his hands and was getting DOWN and added some serious moves.

Pressed the button again and he was a full blown Holy Roller just a swaying and a moonwalking and clapping and hollering AMEN! AMEN! AMEN! JESUS I LOVE YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! all while still Jingle Bells was playing.

His mother came to get him and told him to stop and I said oh no, I wish you'd join him, he's good! And she smiled. His name was Marcus and I thanked him for making me smile today.

Later on in the parking lot I was by JCPENNEYS shipping department, there was another little kid who I saw jumped into a dumpster! Closed the lid on himself. Parents couldn't find him and began to look around over their shoulders for him. Then I saw the lid open up just a crack and he was peeking out at them as they looked high and low for him. Then he went back down inside closing the lid. As they looked towards me loading packages in the rubbermaids in the back of the truck, I pointed towards the dumpster and the father look at me like HUH? And I pointed again to the dumpster. They went back over there and looked back at me as I nodded and opened it up and grabbed that kid outta there hollering at him. "What is wrong with you, what is wrong with you boy?"

I just cracked up.

Yup, that's boys for you.

Ya know I am not so certain I wouldn't have walked over by that dumpster and said ..."sure hope there aren't any little boys in this dumpster because here comes the garbage truck"
