First time in awhile I have been able to do a drawing just for me. Is of my DS and Maggie. They are a little fuzzy because of using the old nikon camera to take a picture of them.

Not quite done with it yet...but here it is....

Wow,, Thank you everyone! Is next to the best thing, when you can't go out because of the silly rain.

Miss taking Maggie out.

That is wonderful Relic!

Will be interesting trying to find a frame for this one. Really haven't found a good source of Frames, I really like.

And it's not just a drawing, it has feeling in it.

, glad you are doing something for yourself, Merry Christmas[/SIZE]

Shari,

I can sum this up in one word, it still doesn't do it justice.....but that one word is "Incredible"........ok,

also a "Wow" thrown in too.

First of all you've got to realize that I'm a complete realist in my artistic tastes; if it doesn't look exactly like the real thing, completely correct in every way, I don't want it.

Secondly, it's got to capture the emotion of the moment and not be a lifeless replica. So far the only painter I would trust to capture either of my horses as I see them myself is my friend Kim McElroy of Spirit of Horse Galleries. Well, and I'd like a woodburn from our own Minimule as she's awesome too.

So take this as the compliment it is meant to be: Shari, I've got to commission you to do one of Kody and I. You just beat all and I'm shaking my head in admiration. Wow.

Merry Christmas to you, indeed!

Goodness, everyone has me blushing now!

Thank you!!

Leia,, I like to be as close to real life as I can, and try to capture the spirit of those I am painting. Still have a way to go yet...to be as good as I want to be. But Thank you for the kind words, from the bottom of my heart.
