DNA Test

I have a mare that I picked up last August from a horse trader that knew nothing about her.

I'm wondering if the is a DNA test to determine her breed. And if she is crossed bred, would it show markers for both/all breeds??

There is no way currently to determine breed by DNA and not likely to be any time in the near future. The complete equine genome isn't yet mapped and even once it is mapped there may not be enough varience from breed to breed genetically to determine breed.
